IGNOU offers a Master Degree course in Computer Applications (MCA). This course is for graduates,  interested in Information Technology and Software applications and progamming.

Course Duration:  3 Yeasrs ( 6 Semesters)

Fees:
Year,     Amount (in Rs.),    When to Pay

I Year    12,200    Along with filled in Registration form
II Year    12,200    Along with the Re-registration form for 2nd year
III Year    12,200    Along with the Re-registration form for 3rd year
Note:
Fee for CS-60 is Rs. 700/-, which is to be paid along with the registration of MCA Ist year, wherever applicable.
Fee for CIC is Rs. 3,000/-, which is to be paid along with the registration of MCA Ist year, wherever applicable.
Before paying fee, please confirm the amount through your nearest IGNOU center.

Eligibility:
The eligibility criteria for the MCA programme (as on Jan, 2005) are:

Bachelor of Computer Science / Applications / Information Sciences / Information Technology from Recognized / Deemed University.

OR

Other Graduates / Non-Computer Science B.Tech / M.Sc (such applicants are required to pursue CIC concurrently with MCA 1st semester)

OR

Graduates with PGDCA from a Recogniaed / Deemed University or its equivalent course not less than one year from a State Board of Technical Education, or its equivalent body established by the Central / State Government.

Note:
(i) The students who haven’t studied Mathematics at 10+2 level are required to do CS-60 in the first semester of MCA programme.
(ii) The students enrolling for the MCA programme who have completed the DOEACC O-level programme are not required to enroll for CIC.
